EISD Gifted & Talented Assessment Parent Meeting

Please attend the EISD Gifted & Talented Assessment Parent Information Meeting for the 2017-2018 school year on Monday, April 24th at 6:00 PM in the cafeteria at the Hill Country Middle School. New testing timeline, procedures and requirements will be discussed. 

EISD Summer Academy 2017

Fundamental classes in reading and math will be offered for students who were in grades K-5 during the 2016-2017 school year. The program is designed to support students who need additional help or time mastering grade level objectives.  

The classes, which will be located at Barton Springs Elementary, 1314 Patterson Rd., will be offered in two separate sessions daily, Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, June 5th, for a period of three weeks, ending on Thursday, June 22nd. Students may enroll in either Reading, Math, or both classes. Instruction will be based on individual student profiles provided by the student’s current classroom teacher. Profiles will identify the course objectives needing reinforcement. 

The Eanes ISD 2017 Elementary Summer Academy information and registration packet which provides the dates, times, location, and cost for the elementary Summer Academy sessions, as well as the registration form, are available in your child’s school office or you may print the attached form and complete. The deadline for registration is Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

 

New Students Register Now

Registration will begin on Wednesday, March 29th at 10:00 AM 

2 Steps to Enroll your New Student:

1. Complete online enrollment beginning March 29 at 10am, visit eanesisd.net to enroll.

2. Please bring copies (unless otherwise noted) of the following required documents to the front office: 

• Child’s birth certificate (bring original or certified copy) 
• Child’s Social Security card 
• Child’s immunization record 
• Parent or Guardian valid driver’s license indicating a correct, current address in the District 
• Family’s proof of residency, including (1) current, signed lease, deed or contract or most recent tax receipt; and (2) current utility bill for the property in question in parent’s name.

Cedar Creek Elementary School Tours

School tours are available on Wednesday's between 8:00 AM and 9:15 AM. Please call 512-732-9120 or email ababbs@eanesisd.net to set up an appointment. Tours are 15 minutes long. Please bring a valid ID when checking in.

WALK TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAYS

ATTENDANCE

  • When a student misses school for any reason you must email cceattendance@eanesisd.net to let the attendance clerk know.

  • Any student that arrives to school after 10:00 AM will be counted absent. UNLESS a Doctor's note is provided.

  • If a student will miss 3 or more days of school an Extended Leave of Absence Form must be completed and turned into the front office.



TRANSPORTATION


  • Any transportation changes need to be emailed to the front office by 1:30 PM. Please email both ababbs@eanesisd.net and your homeroom teacher the change.

  • New Transportation Rule:

As communicated last May, Eanes ISD has eliminated guest ridership on school buses and eliminated stops to alternate locations for after-school programs. (The definition of a guest rider is a student who rides a bus other than the one they are assigned. If a student remains on his/her assigned bus but gets off at a different stop along the route, that is allowed because he/she is already accounted on that bus)


FORGOTTEN ITEMS

  • Items such as snack, water bottles, lunches, backpacks, books and homework to be left with the Front Office Staff to be delivered.

  • Please do not go to the classroom to deliver and interrupt the class.


VISITORS

  • Any visitor that comes into the school must enter through the front office to check in.

  • If it is the first time to visit Cedar Creek - you must provide your Driver’s License to be scanned and a badge will be issued.
