Cedar Creek Elementary is a neighborhood K-5 school. This beautiful campus was built in 1979 and has expanded with addition wings in the last few years.
Cedar Creek is continually striving to reach the district's goals of establishing a rigorous curriculum, aligning the curriculum, providing superior customer service, and ensuring that all students achieve at high levels. For children to reach their potential, they must be challenged at their individual level. We offer programs for students who need reading support, special education services, counseling support, and gifted and talented services, among others. Our focus on meeting the needs of each individual student has been the hallmark of our success.
Our full-time art, physical education, and music teacher provide an enriching curriculum that supports the academic program. We are fortunate to have strong counseling, dyslexia, reading support, and special education programs. All students have access to the gifted/talented program and receive services through a pull-out model. Students have many opportunities to grow in leadership roles in programs such as student council and safety patrol.
The Booster Club at Cedar Creek is a very active parent organization that provides financial support, teacher assistance, and staff appreciation activities as they lead the way in the home-school partnership that is vital to a healthy school. Many opportunities await our parents to be involved in their child's education. We enjoy the support of our parents and community members who add tremendous value to Cedar Creek Elementary.
