The Safety Patrol leadership position
is given to reliable and responsible students who are willing to give
their time and commitment to make Cedar Creek a safe environment. We
expect our Safety Patrol members to follow specific rules of safety at
all times that they are serving in this capacity.
Patrol students are available to work in the morning and/or afternoons. Hours include 7:30-7:45 a.m. and/or 2:45-3:00 p.m.. Each member works his or her position for four weeks and rotates. This helps promote a variety of responsible experiences.
We strive to make Cedar Creek Elementary a safe environment.
The Cedar Creek Student Council is made up of representatives from 4th and 5th grade. The students were elected by their peers. The 5th grade officers are elected during a grade level election.
The two areas of focus for the Student
Council are the community and the school. Our focus this year is
"Random Acts of Kindness."
The Student Council members frequently put on skits or give announcements at the school's morning assembly.
We are excited about what we have accomplished in the past and we are looking forward to our upcoming projects.
