Cedar Creek Elementary

October 19, 2017

Dear Cedar Creek Family,

It's hard to believe the end of the first grading period ends this Friday. Please remember students will be dismissed at 11:50 a.m. on October 25th, 26th and 27th for our Parent/Teacher Conferences. No lunches will be served on those days, but buses will run. We look forward to sharing important information about your child during your conferences.

On Tuesday, October 24, 2017, our 4th grade students will be performing the musical, "The Ghost of the Sifty Sifty Sam". The show begins at 8:30 AM and will be approximately 35 minutes long. We look forward to this performance under the direction of our music teacher, Lindsey Creel.

Looking ahead, our annual CCE Fall Family Fun Fest and Movie Night is right around the corner on October 28, 2017 beginning at 4:00 PM. Mrs. Julia Glass and Mrs. Beverly Crenshaw have been busy planning this fabulous community event for our Cedar Creek Eagles. Please bring your entire family to enjoy this fun-filled day. All activities will occur here at Cedar Creek. You may purchase wristbands now at  Please see flyer below for more information.

Have a great week!

Warm regards,

Jessica Brown

Dear Cedar Creek Family,

Please see the important district message below regarding Quick Report:

We are always looking for ways to foster an even safer and more caring school community.  We have added a new feature to our websites to ensure students, staff and parents have a voice to report issues that may affect their peers and/or schools.

Quick Report allows school administrators to receive tips at any time and have the ability to respond in a timely manner to issues that impact the school or individual students. The reported issues range from bullying to weapons/threats.

Students, staff, parents and other stakeholders can visit the district website or any campus website and click either "Connect" at the top navigation bar, "Quick Links" at the top navigation bar, or click under the "Students" section, then select "Quick Report".

Once on the Quick Report page, you can identify which school(s) receives the tip, select an appropriate topic from the dropdown list, write the message and submit the tip. There is also an option to include a photograph as appropriate. Messages may be communicated anonymously or with contact information.

Please note that in an emergency, you should call 911, or in the case of a mental health crisis, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
