Dear Cedar Creek Family,

Tomorrow, February 23rd is our Student Council sponsored Spirit Day – Western Day. As a reminder, students may wear hats, boots or other western attire, but please refrain from bringing any props or toys.

Next week, Student Council and Booster Club will be sponsoring our Food Drive benefitting the Central Texas Food Bank. Last year, CCE collected over 2,559 pounds of food, which created 2,133 meals for families in need. All donated items will be collected on stage before assembly beginning February 26, 2018 and ending on March 2, 2018. Please see the attached flyer for suggested donation items.

Next Thursday, March 1, 2018, we invite all parents of 5th graders to attend an informational meeting led by Carl Hooker, EISD Director of Innovation & Digital Learning. The meeting will be held in the Commons at 8:00 a.m. Mr. Hooker will discuss the 5th grade iPad Springboard Pilot which begins this Spring. Looking ahead, February 27, 2018 is an Early Release and No Homework Day. School will be dismissed at 12:50 PM. Please remember lunches will be served and buses will run.

Campus Dismissal Manager Reminders

Thank you to all that have registered for the Campus Dismissal Manager (CDM).

If you have not registered, please do so at https://parent.smart-tag.net

Just a few reminders regarding the CDM:

1. Please use the CDM to notify the school of all absences, late arrivals and any transportation changes.

2.The cut off time to make transportation changes is 1:30PM for parents. If there is an emergency after this time, please contact the front office.

We appreciate your patience and participation during this registration and implementation process. We are all learning this together.

Interested in Spanish Immersion?

Mandatory parent information meetings will be held regarding 2018-19 Spanish immersion. THESE MEETINGS ARE ONLY REQUIRED FOR FAMILIES NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN SPANISH IMMERSION. Interested parents MUST attend any one of these meetings to be eligible for NEW application to the 2018-19 Spanish immersion program in Eanes ISD.
