MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL JESSICA BROWN

Dear Cedar Creek Family,
Tomorrow is one of the most eagerly anticipated days at CCE – Eagle Day! I'm delighted Mother Nature appears to be cooperating with us this year – sun is scheduled in the forecast. Coach Davis has been working with all students to teach them the fun and exciting games they will be playing with their classmates. As a reminder, Grades K-2 will be on the field from 8:20 AM-10:15 AM and Grades 3-5 will enjoy the field activities from 11:50 AM-2:15 PM.
Our last Walk to School Wednesday is scheduled for Wednesday, May 2, 2018. We encourage students to walk to school and then proceed to the cafeteria for our morning assembly. Please remember, for safety reasons, students will not be exiting the cafeteria once they arrive in the building.
Looking ahead, Monday, April 30, 2018 is a student holiday. Please feel free to join us for our CCE Eanespiration Award ceremony at our assembly on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. We look forward to recognizing important community and staff members who help make Cedar Creek Elementary such a special school.

Campus Dismissal Manager Reminders
Thank you to all that have registered for the Campus Dismissal Manager (CDM).
If you have not registered, please do so at https://parent.smart-tag.net
Just a few reminders regarding the CDM:
1. Please use the CDM to notify the school of all absences, late arrivals and any transportation changes.
2.The cut off time to make transportation changes is 1:30PM for parents. If there is an emergency after this time, please contact the front office.
We appreciate your patience and participation during this registration and implementation process. We are all learning this together.

EISD Elementary Summer Academy
When: June 4 – June 21, 2018 Monday – Thursday (12 days)
Where: Valley View Elementary
Registration due by Tuesday, May 15, 2018
The program is designed to support students who need additional help mastering grade level objectives in reading and math. Instruction will be based on individual student profiles provided by the student’s current classroom teacher.
