MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL
Dear Cedar Creek Families,
State of the District/Booster Club Meeting - Please join us for the October Booster Club Meeting, Friday morning October 19th after assembly in the Commons. Superintendent Dr. Tom Leonard will present highlights from the previous year, information on the current school year and much more.
Parent-teacher conferences - We are looking forward to parent-teacher conferences next week! Please make sure you have signed up for a time, we hope to have 100% participation and attendance! Parents can access the conference sign-up by using Skyward Conference Scheduler. Through Family Access, parents will be able to choose a conference slot during the conference days, October 24-26. Please sign up for one time slot per child. The deadline to schedule or switch conference dates will be October 19th by 4 PM. After that time, if an emergency arises, please contact the teacher directly.

Family Night for Book Fair, wear costumes!
The library turns into the book fair for the week of October 29-November 2. Parents and grandparents are welcome to eat lunch with their children and then come shopping during recess. The fair will also be open after school Monday-Thursday until 3:30PM. Students are invited to test drive their Halloween costumes during Family Night on Tuesday, October 30 from 3:30-7:00 PM. All proceeds directly benefit our library.
Nurse Bulluck will be conducting Hearing and Vision Screenings on October 29th for all 1st, 3rd and 5th grade students, as well as new students in 2nd and 4th. Kindergarten students will be screened the following day on October 30th. If your child wears glasses, please remind them to bring them the day of the screening.
Thank you again for your donations to both Booster Club and EEF! We thank EEF who funds a total of approximately 50 staff positions in Eanes ISD each year, 3.5 positions at CCE. We appreciate all of our parents for not only the donations, but the many hours you donate to make CCE THE BEST SCHOOL!!
It has been another successful week at CCE! We are excited to see everyone tomorrow morning for Friday Assembly at 7:40AM! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions, concerns or want to celebrate a bright spot on our campus!

Elementary schools will release exactly 3 hours early to allow teachers to meet with each family. On these days Middle and High schools will release at regular times. Click title for release times.
