MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL

Dear Cedar Creek Families,

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays to spend quality time with my family and think about all of the many people and things I am thankful for!  I hope each of you enjoyed family time over the week-long Thanksgiving holiday! We have had a great start back to school this week!

We want to thank all of the many volunteers who helped with Eagle Dash Day before the Thanksgiving break!  The students loved the Eagle Dash races and enjoyed learning yoga from our very own Ms. Van Dyke as well as strategies to improve health/fitness/self compassion from CCE parents!  The partnership we have with our parents and community is invaluable!

Here are some upcoming events:

Friday, December 7

Eagle Singers perform at 7:40AM and 6:30PM

4th and 5th graders to WHS for Nutcracker performance

Tuesday, December 11

3rd grade to Nutcracker performance

Tuesday, January 8

Calling all Princesses!

WHS Choir will be hosting a new event in the Westlake High School Black Box Theatre. The Princess Tea will feature all of the Disney Princesses (along with a few villains!)  The event is for elementary age students and their parents. A show will be presented in the Black Box Theatre followed by an interactive tea with our princesses with lots of opportunities for photos. Each attendee is encouraged to dress up as their favorite princess and all will receive a wand, crown, and a teacup from the event. Two shows available Dec 2 at 1:30 PM & 4:00 PM. Get your tickets at https://www.westlakechoir.com/

Thank you for all that you do to support our school!  We are excited to see everyone tomorrow morning for Friday assembly at 7:40AM.  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns or want to celebrate a bright spot on our campus!

See you at school soon!
