Dear Cedar Creek Families,

Thank you to everyone who attended our Back to School Mornings this week! We appreciate all of the support our parents have provided in allowing us to get our systems in place, and we look forward to having parents start visiting for lunch starting on Tuesday, September 4. Please make sure to check in in the front office and get a visitor sticker through the Raptor system. We do not allow visitors on the playground, so we appreciate you saying your goodbyes in the cafeteria before the class heads out to the playground for recess.

I have enjoyed getting to know the students and parents these last few weeks, and I look forward to continuing to build relationships and celebrate successes! Cedar Creek is a special school, and a huge part of that is the partnership we have with our parents and community!

Reminders:

Please be to school on time – School starts at 7:40AM, so we recommend you have your child(ren) at school by 7:35. The school doors lock at 7:40, and students are tardy after 7:40AM. If a student arrives after 7:40AM, he or she will have to be buzzed in through the front office. We do not want students to miss out on Morning Meetings, which start in the classroom just after 7:40AM. All students will enter the building through the front doors or the side cafeteria door by the parking lot.

Nut-Free Snack School – CCE is a nut-free snack school, due to the many nut allergies, some are life-threatening. Your child's teacher has provided a nut-free snack suggestion flier.

Safety and Security - Over the summer, Eanes ISD installed a buzz-in camera system at the main entrance of each campus. The main office doors will no longer be open. This new system requires visitors to identify themselves and state their business before given access into the main office. Once inside, all visitors will continue to check-in using the Raptor system. All other doors will remain locked throughout the day.

Cheer Clinic Coming Up – The WHS Chaps Cheer Spirit Clinic will be Saturday, October 20. Please see attached flier for more information.

It really has been another wonderful week at CCE! We are excited to see everyone tomorrow morning for Friday Assembly at 7:40AM! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions, concerns or want to celebrate a bright spot on our campus!
