MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL

Dear Cedar Creek Elementary Families,

It has been another great week at CCE!  The EISD School Board has been visiting our campus over the last two weeks to tour our Learning Studios and classrooms, and they have said how proud they are of the excellent behavior they see with our students and the innovative teaching and caring shown by our staff at CCE!

Don't forget that Monday, January 21, is a school holiday in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our Booster Club and parent community for all you do to volunteer and donate to our school.  At last Friday's assembly, we showed a thank you video which highlighted many of the items bought with Booster Club funds. We also want to continue our gratitude to everyone who has made our new morning cafeteria dismissal so effective.

LOST AND FOUND

If your student is missing a coat, lunch box or water bottle…...Please look through the Lost and Found, located at the back of the cafeteria.  At the end of the day Friday, January 18, any items still left in Lost and Found will be donated. Items that had names written inside of the coat or on the water bottle are in the front office.  ** It is a great idea to write your child's name inside the coat or any other personal items.

We want to say THANK YOU to all the  Cedar Creek parents who volunteered to help this in-line skating “season”.  Your help and presence in our PE classes was immensely appreciated.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

This day is to raise awareness around the importance of mental health. It's a great opportunity for families and students to take a minute to check-in and to listen attentively to each other.  Start the conversation!
