MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL
Dear Cedar Creek Elementary Families,
Visitor Stickers - please remember that if you are staying on campus after the Friday assembly you must go into the front office to print a visitor badge. This is part of our safety initiative to monitor all visitors in our building. Lunch Visitors - please remember that all visitors are asked to eat lunch at the back table in the cafeteria. This allows for special time with your child, protects students who have food allergies and protects the confidentiality of other students. Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation. Staying Healthy - we are seeing an increase in illnesses (GI symptoms, Strep Throat and Flu). We ask that you please remember to keep your student home until: 1) fever- free 24 hours without the aid of fever reducing medicine 2) tolerate solid food & fluids for a full 24 hour period without vomiting. Please encourage your students to wash their hands and to cover their mouths when coughing to prevent germs from spreading. Pets On Campus - please make sure to keep dogs at a distance from students before and after school, as some students are allergic and some might be fearful of animals. Also, please pick up after pets; we unfortunately have had dog feces on the school property where students walk to car pick-up, as this is a safety hazard.
